Let’s Get Ready To Rumble Creed 2 New Trailer Heads Back To The Ring

You could say the boxing ring is a metaphor for life, you just seem to learn something new about yourself. In Creed 2 this could be said about Adonis Creed’s life, even parallels his own with his father. In the second (UK) Trailer Adonis returns to the ring to face none other than Viktor Drago (Florian Munteanu), son of Ivan (Dolph Lundgren), the man who killed Adonis dad!

The shared history between the pair certainly spices things up. Will, it be a ‘revenge’ story or doesn’t repeat what has happened before? Creed was an unexpected success, however, Ryan Coogler has gone onto bigger better things. It’s no disrespect Steven Caple Jr, I’m very cautious this doesn’t look anywhere close to Creed.

Life has become a balancing act for Adonis Creed. Between personal obligations and training for his next big fight, he is up against the challenge of his life. Facing an opponent with ties to his family’s past only intensifies his impending battle in the ring. Rocky Balboa is there by his side through it all and, together, Rocky and Adonis will confront their shared legacy, question what’s worth fighting for, and discover that nothing’s more important than family. Creed II is about going back to basics to rediscover what made you a champion in the first place, and remembering that, no matter where you go, you can’t escape your history.

Creed 2 stars  Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, Wood Harris, Andre Ward, Florian “The Big Nasty” Munteanu, Dolph Lundgren, Russell Hornsby.

The film arrives in the UK and Ireland from 30th November with the U.S.A release on 21st November.
