UK Trailer For Life Itself Will Have You Swooning For The Cast

Dan Fogelman may have started his early days in scripting Disney Pixar films (Cars 2, Bolt and Tangled), Life Itself sees him stay in the romantic drama genre.

Ever since moving into Romantic Drama genres he’s found his niche. More recently his television work and This Is Us (aired on Channel 4 in the UK) which left fans of the show devasted with a main character death. This highlight’s he’s not scared to go for emotion to shock the viewers. Fogelman was also the writer behind Crazy, Stupid, Love and the highly underrated Me, Earl And The Dying Girl.

Life Itself is described as ‘multigenerational saga’ with Oscar Issac and Olivia Wilde in a story that examines the perils and rewards of everyday life. It’s hard to say how the other cast will connect with Isaac and Wilde’s characters story arc. Will he go for Garry Marshall style film or something completely different?

Expect melodramatics and if we get something that arcs towards This Is Us we may have a solid film on our hands. Sky Cinema is releasing this one and has sent us the film’s UK Trailer, check it out…

As a young New York couple goes from college romance to marriage and the birth of their first child, the unexpected twists of their journey create reverberations that echo over continents and through lifetimes in Life Itself. Director and writer Dan Fogelman (“This Is Us”) examines the perils and rewards of everyday life in a multigenerational saga featuring an international ensemble including Oscar Isaac, Olivia Wilde, Antonio Banderas, Annette Bening, Olivia Cooke, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Laia Costa, Alex Monner, and Mandy Patinkin. Set in New York City and Carmona, Spain, Life Itself celebrates the human condition and all of its complications with humor, poignancy, and love.

Life Itself will be released in the UK and Irish cinemas in January 2019. Date to be confirmed and it will also be exclusively shown on Sky Cinema at the same time.
