Slappy Is Back! Watch Goosebumps 2 : Haunted Halloween First Trailer

The Summer might be a scorcher (or damp squib), you could say the same on this season’s blockbusters. As we burn in the sun, filmland is already focusing on the Autumn and today we have Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween.

Some of you might think it’s too early to be thinking about what we’ll be wearing in the Halloween. Sony Pictures Releasing wants us to be thinking about their upcoming film. Goosebumps was a family lead spooky adventure starring Jack Black as R.L Stine but wheres Jack in the sequel?

He may not be back for this follow-up but his creep evil ventriloquist Slappy the dummy is. Don’t pee him off as he wants to bring those scary monsters and creatures back. Ghouls, Ghosts, and Goblins will go bump in the night as the kids discover Stine’s empty home.

Jeremy Ray Taylor leads the cast as one of the two boys who break into the house to discover a locked copy of the book (Haunted Halloween). The big clue is locked under lock and key, maybe they should have left it that way! Clash Of The Titans unleashed the Kraken, Goosebumps unleashes the Gummy Bears! I do hope you don’t have a sweet tooth!

This looks a fun film and if it’s anything like the first film, you’ll dig this one. Check out below the first international (UK) Teaser Trailer

If you’re looking for any indications what this film may curtail, Sony Pictures has released (very) generic Synopsis:

Halloween comes to life in a brand-new comedy adventure based on R.L. Stine’s 400-million-selling series of books

The cast includes Caleel Harris, Madison Iseman, Ben O’Brien, Wendi Mclendon-Covey, Chris Parnell and Ken Jeong. The film is directed by Ari Sandel (The Duff).

Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween will be haunting your local cinemas in the Uk and Ireland from 12th October.
