Watch The Totally Bonkers The Spy Who Dumped Me UK Trailer

Kiss My Assassin‘, action, spy thriller and comedy meet again in The Spy Who Dumped Me. Today Lionsgate Films has released the UK Trailer and it looks totally bonkers!

Starring Mila Kunis (Bad Moms) a woman who is just going through a bad break up with her ex-boyfriend. Soon she finds herself thrust into an international conspiracy with her best friend Kate McKinnon (Saturday Night Live, Ghostbusters) when she learns her ex is a spy!

If you enjoyed Paul Feig’s Spy, your probably going to enjoy this one. You could say its template for the modern spy comedies, blending the elements nicely with hope this one will too. This looks like a fun film, both ladies from different comedic backgrounds. McKinnon is an out and out comedic actor, with the core of her work in SNL, more recently on the big screen. Kunis will always be known as the voice of Meg in Family Guy, as herself it’s been more mainstream films. More recently smaller comedies shes proven to can be funny.

The pair’s chemistry looks fine which will work well for this film. However, when it comes to comedy and mixing the genres can be risky. Hard to say if this will work or not, promising when your boss is the ‘Beyonce Of The Government’!

Starring Mila Kunis and Kate McKinnon, The Spy Who Dumped Me follows best friends Audrey (Kunis) and Morgan (McKinnon) as they are unexpectedly thrust into an international conspiracy when Audrey learns her ex-boyfriend is a spy.

Surprising even themselves, the duo jump into action, on the run throughout Europe from assassins and a suspicious-but-charming British agent, as they hatch a plan to save the world.

Co-starring Justin Theroux, Gillian Anderson, Hasan Minhaj, Ivanna Sakhno, and Sam Heughan.

The Spy Who Dumped me will be released in UK and Irish cinemas on Wednesday 22nd August 2018.
