Watch The First Trailer For The Nun And ‘Pray For Her Forgiveness’

We’ve known for a While James Wan‘s The Conjuring Universe was expanding and today witness the darkest chapter with The Nun. Prepare to pray for forgiveness as the most demonic beast of The Conjuring 2 getting its own story.

The franchise was started around Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga). Their journey rescuing people from the darkest depths of the demonic underworld. The Warrens won’t be our defenders, the baton will be passed to Sister Irene (played by Taissa Farmiga, younger sister of Vera).

She’s sent to Romania by the Vatican to investigate the ‘suicide’ of a fellow nun. With the help of a local priest and nun, the trio finds not just their faith to the test, their lives are in danger too.

Warner Bros.Pictures has sent us the First UK Teaser Trailer. It’s short, sweet but still very effective. Building the tone and that Corin Hardy (The Hallow) may be on track to continue the critical acclaim the franchise has built.

When a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order’s unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorized audiences in “The Conjuring 2,” as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.

The film stars Demian Bichir (A Better Life), Taissa Farmiga (American Horror Story), Jonas Bloquet (Elle), Charlotte Hope (Game of Thrones), Ingrid Bisu (Toni Erdmann) and Bonnie Aarons playing the titular character.

The Nun will be released in the UK, Ireland and the USA from 7th September.
