New Mission Impossible Fallout Featurette Highlights Crazy Halo Stunt

Tom Cruise might be in his 50’s but he’s proving age won’t slow him down when it comes to stunts. Next month Mission Impossible Fallout will finally arrive in cinemas and today we take a look at one of those stunts.

The one thing the Mission Impossible franchise prides itself on is its stunts. Every film tries and go one better and deliver even crazier stunts. Most are practical stunts too, which makes seeing the stunt play out even more rewarding on the big screen.

Paramount Pictures has released a brand new Featurette which showcases one of the insane stunts. Entitled ‘Halo Jump‘ we see Tom will be the first actor to do a Halo jump on camera. Jumping from a plane at 25,000 feet that’s travelling at 165mph. It’s no easy feat and of course, this is Mission Impossible and Cruise is Ethan Hunt!

The great thing we love about Cruise, no matter critically how good or bad a film is, he gives it his all. That much he puts his body in the line of danger, which as we know breaking his foot in the making of Fallout.

The best intentions often come back to haunt you. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong. Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby also join the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm.
