If they were ever to remake Die Hard, after you watch the new UK Trailer for Skyscraper, Dwayne Johnson might have delivered his John McLean perfect audition. Yippee Kai-Yeh!

You can’t deny Johnson’s work ethic is extraordinary, he’s quickly becoming a giant in Tinsel Town. He loves tackling gigantic things from the giants in the wrestling world. taking down giant vehicles and aircraft in the Fast & Furious franchise. More recently fighting giant flying wolves and Alligators in Rampage.

He fears nothing, even with one leg and in July he tackles a beast of an opponent when he must tackle the world’s tallest tower. A man will do anything to save himself but most of all, his family…

There no way you can ignore that Skyscraper has a big Die Hard vibe to it. That’s not a bad thing as it’s refreshing to the palette and Johnson is one of the best at the high octane action thrillers. Johnson himself has stated on social media, Bruce Willis cult classic is a big inspiration. Welcome to the party, pal!

Global icon Dwayne Johnson leads the cast of Legendary’s Skyscraper as former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran Will Sawyer, who now assesses security for skyscrapers. On assignment in China he finds the tallest, safest building in the world suddenly ablaze, and he’s been framed for it. A wanted man on the run, Will must find those responsible, clear his name and somehow rescue his family who is trapped inside the building…above the fire line
