Second Ocean’s 8 Trailer The Ladies Plan ‘The Heist’

All great plans take time to plan, including heists. In Ocean’s 8, it’s over five years in the planning for Debbie Ocean(Sandra Bullock). It’s Three Years in the making, now Warner Bros. release the second UK Trailer, which teases these ladies may just deliver the goods. Over £100 million in diamonds and a fun film that nicely compliments Steven Soderbergh version…

After the backlash from the female-led Ghostbusters, you wonder if the long wait for this female version prevented an earlier release? You don’t want to be too similar to the previous versions maybe the exception of tone. Though there needs to be some connection, just not a like for like.

This trailer shows the film has the distinctive style we expect, but hopefully much more.We get to learn a little more of the story, especially that Danny Ocean (Clooney) is dead! There is also a new fuller, more detailed synopsis too…Ocean

Five years, eight months, 12 days…and counting. That’s how long Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) has been devising the biggest heist of her life.

She knows what it’s going to take—a team of the best in their field, starting with her partner-in-crime Lou Miller (Cate Blanchett). Together, they recruit a crew of specialists: jeweller Amita (Kaling); street con Constance (Awkwafina); expert fence Tammy (Paulson); hacker Nine Ball (Rihanna); and fashion designer Rose (Bonham Carter).

The target is a cool $150 million dollars in diamonds—diamonds that will be around the neck of world-famous actress Daphne Kluger (Hathaway), who will be centre stage at the event of the year, the Met Gala.

The plan is rock solid, but everything will need to be flawless if the team is going to get in and get away with the ice. All in plain sight.
