Everyone deserves love, a chance to restart your life after it’s turned upside down. In Life Of The Party, Melissa McCarthy needs the restart and going back to College is that restart. The only problem is, it’s the same college as her daughter!
Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new Second UK Trailer that shows life doesn’t always begin when you reach 40 but also when you become divorced. But whose the ‘Son Of The Bitch Your Honour’? Why not ask her ‘Vagoogle’?! Sorry kids can’t be turned off!
When her husband suddenly dumps her, longtime dedicated housewife Deanna (McCarthy) turns regret into re-set by going back to college…landing in the same class and school as her daughter, who’s not entirely sold on the idea. Plunging headlong into the campus experience, the increasingly outspoken Deanna—now Dee Rock—embraces freedom, fun and frat boys on her own terms, finding her true self in a senior year no one ever expected.
The new Trailer gives us a little more insight into the film plot and the first look at the SOB that used to be Deanna’s Husband. There is some new footage in this one that shows off McCarthy’s comic undertones. The burning question is, what can this film deliver (directed by her real-life Husband Ben Falcone)that’s not been seen in her previous films? We’re not saying this won’t be funny, there’s nothing highly original or memorable make this one truly stand out. Just a nice filler when you’ve had enough of the big blockbusters!
Life Of The Party will party at a UK and Irish cinema near you from 11th May. Co-stars Gillian Jacobs, Maya Rudolph, Julie Bowen, Matt Walsh, Molly Gordon, Stephen Root, Jacki Weaver, Jessie Ennis, Adria Arjona, Debby Ryan, and Jimmy O. Yang.Powered by Sidelines
