Ewan McGregor Needs A’Pooh’ In Christopher Robin First Trailer

“What If Christopher Robin grew up?” This Summer Disney hope to bring you one vision of that possibility. When we return to Pooh Corner, Christoper is no longer a boy as Ewan McGregor plays the titular character. He has his own family now, he’s cynical, miserable but can the appearance of an old friend help him? Winnie The Pooh?

Disney has released the first UK Teaser Trailer for Christopher Robin as he tries to recover that old imagination. Sooner or later, your past catches up with you…

After the success of Disney’s The Jungle Book, Pete’s Dragon, Cinderella it’s no surprise Pooh Bear is next in line. May Be Studiocanal’s Paddington films success also helped Disney’s minds that the cinematic world has room for another CGI bear. Instead of going back to Christopher’s childhood, they take a ‘Hook’ approach and focus on his adult life.

In the heartwarming live-action adventure, the young boy who embarked on countless adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with his band of spirited and lovable stuffed animals has grown up and lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin remember the loving and playful boy who is still inside.

Hayley Atwell as Christopher’s wife Evelyn with Bronte Carmichael as his daughter Madeline; and Mark Gatiss as Keith Winslow, Robin’s boss. The film also features the voices of Jim Cummings as Winnie the Pooh, Chris O’Dowd as Tigger. Brad Garrett as Eeyore, Toby Jones as Owl, Nick Mohammed as Piglet. Next to them Peter Capaldi as Rabbit and Sophie Okonedo as Kanga.World War z director Marc Forster is directing this one.

Christopher Robin is set for an August 2018 UK and Irish cinema release date (exact date TBC).
