After The Merc with the mouth complained about the CGI and lazy writing in the last Deadpool 2 Trailer, today we get a new Trailer.
First, it was the goofy homage to Bob Ross, then it was gun-toting, time-traveling mutant Cable. Now, this new Trailer, The Merc takes his centre stage and he has new friends…The X-Force!
Recently there were test screenings and word from them was awesome. The naughty hijinks, the crazy action is all there. These screenings don’t mean there was problems or reshoots, a chance to see how everything is going. Even if the word wasn’t good fans would still flock to cinemas.
Whilst we love the naughty fun, there’s always that potential to overdo things. However, we’ve waited so long for this type of character we’re going to love him whatever. Fans of the film love Ryan Reynolds, he’s a perfect choice, even going back to his earl Wolverine cameo.
Fans of the Marvel comic books will know the X-Men universe is so expansive with so many good (and bad) groups out there. This trailer introduces the X-Force, who are a bit rawer, even a little reckless than the X-Men.
Deadpool does call them “We need them tough, morally flexible, and young enough to carry their own franchise for 10 to 15 years.” Need I say no more!
After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfil his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavour – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.
Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Leslie Uggams, Brianna Hildebrand, Zazie Beetz, Stefan Kapicic, and Karan Soni make up the rest of the cast.
Deadpool 2 arrives in UK and Irish cinemas including IMAX on May 15 (May 18th in the USA).Powered by Sidelines
