Watch First Skyscraper Trailer Yippee Kai Yeh Dwayne Johnson!

You ever wondered why Dwayne Johnson under his ‘Rock’ persona was called ‘The Great One’? When you watch the absurdly crazy first UK Trailer for Skyscraper you will understand why. As he goes all out Die Hard meets Towering Inferno, takes on the criminals with one leg!

Anything Tom Cruise can do, the big man takes it tenfold be it more visual effects. We don’t expect The Great one’s ankle was broken, but stunts that will provide those popcorn purists the substance they want. No building, not even the tallest building in the world scares Johnson…

Like many of today’s trailers and TV Spots, this one comes thanks to last night’s Superbowl. Johnson plays a security expert on buildings in which he fights for his family in the tallest building in the world.

Love 3D, this movie will feed your urge, it feeds on Johnson’s reputation as one of the biggest film stars in the industry. It’s silly, absurd, over the top, his fans will love this, critics probably loathe this. But his fans won’t care he’s the greatest action hero ever!

Global icon Dwayne Johnson leads the cast of Legendary’s Skyscraper as former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran Will Ford, who now assesses security for skyscrapers. On assignment in China he finds the tallest, safest building in the world suddenly ablaze, and he’s been framed for it. A wanted man on the run, Will must find those responsible, clear his name and somehow rescue his family who is trapped inside the building…above the fire line.

Skyscraper will arrive in UK and Irish Cinemas from 13th July. The film co-stars Neve Campbell, Chin Han, Noah Taylor, Roland Møller, Byron Mann, Pablo Schreiber, and Hannah Quinlivan.Written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Central Intelligence, We’re the Millers).
