Liam Neeson’s Actioner The Commuter First Trailer Looks Ludicrously Nuts

Who needs Hercule Piroit when you have Liam Neeson to solve that murder mystery onboard a train? This is no Murder On The Orient Express, The Commuter is Jaume Collet-Serra‘s new action thriller that deserves a man with a set of particular skills. Mr Neeson possesses those skills, skills he’s used a lot taking out the Albanian Mafia, Pack Of Wolves, crooks on a plane. Now is the path of destruction comes to a train journey near you and Studiocanal has released the first UK (international) Trailer which looks ludicrously nuts!Who said the train to work or home had to be dull when you’re blessed with those ‘skills’

An insurance salesman who accidentally finds himself embroiled some dark conspiracy becomes an ass-kicking passenger to save himself and Passengers. Neeson may complain he’s getting too old for these movies but still, he works well with the Spanish director. Like the previously mentioned movies don’t expect intelligent dramatic movie instead, a movie that asks you to leave your brain at the box office.Last years The Shallows proved Collet-Serra can entertain and this one looks like much the same minus that infamous Taken call scene.

Liam Neeson plays an insurance salesman, Michael, on his daily commute home, which quickly becomes anything but routine. After being contacted by a mysterious stranger, Michael is forced to uncover the identity of a hidden passenger on his train before the last stop. As he works against the clock to solve the puzzle, he realizes a deadly plan is unfolding and is unwittingly caught up in a criminal conspiracy. One that carries life and death stakes, for himself and his fellow passengers.

The Commuter will depart platform cinema from 19th January 2018 in the Uk and Ireland (The USA 12th January). Vera Farmiga, Sam Neill, Patrick Wilson and Jonathan Banks also star.
