Watch New Clips And Featurette For The Big Sick

After a few weeks of intense but entertaining blockbusters, the last weekend of this month we get a breather with a movie that will play with your heart with The Big Sick. It wouldn’t be a summer without a Rom-Com and it’s one produced by Judd Apatow and Studiocanal wants us to fall and love with what has been a big indie hit Stateside and have sent us a few clips to get us on board.

In the first clipUber‘ our blossoming lovebirds (played by Kumail Nanjiani and Zoe Kazan), just had some ‘intimate time’ together but Emily wants to go home but wants to phone a ‘Uber’ Kumail is having none of it!

In the second clipHigh Balls‘ Kumail is with Emily’s Parents (Holly Hunter and Ray Romano) and her dad has a ‘joke’ for Kumail, but her Mum describes the joke as funny as a ‘Fart at a funeral’!

In our third and final video, Understanding Cultures Featurette – Comedian Kumail Nanjiani and his writer wife Emily V. Gordon discuss their real life romance behind The Big Sick, together with the cultural differences between their families.

Don’t miss the US hit comedy of the summer, THE BIG SICK produced by Judd Apatow and starring Silicon Valley star Kumail Nanjiani.

When Pakistan-born aspiring comedian Kumail (Nanjiani) connects with grad student Emily (Zoe Kazan) after one of his stand-up sets, what they thought would be just a one-night stand blossoms into the real thing. But this further complicates the life that is expected of Kumail by his traditional Muslim parents.

Then Emily is beset with a mystery illness forcing Kumail to navigate the medical crisis with her parents, (Holly Hunter and Ray Romano) who he’s never met while dealing with the emotional tug-of-war between his family and his heart.
