Steven Soderbergh’s Logan Lucky Is A Redneck Heist Movie Watch UK Trailer

Just when you thought it was safe to say they were retired, bang they come back with a new flick and Steven Soderbergh has now unretired to bring us Logan Lucky. A fallback to his heist movies of recent times, but not the glamour of Oceans 11 movies he goes all out redneck. What happens when you get Magic Mike (Channing Tatum), Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) get James Bond (Daniel Craig) they attempt to rob Nascar racing! Ahead of August release Studiocanal release the UK trailer which shows Soderbergh hasn’t lost any of the old magic after several years in hiatus!

If you’ve seen the American trailer, you’ll see from this UK trailer we do get a little more of the story and that this looks a silly but fun flick. What we do love is Daniel Craig who looks like he’s having a ball playing a character the total opposite of James Bond. This looks a strong return but is it a parody of Soderbergh’s previous movies? Whatever we love what we’re seeing!

Jimmy Logan (Channing Tatum) is from a blue-collar family from the hills of West Virginia, whose clan has been famous for its bad luck for nearly 90 years. After being fired from his job, and with his ex-wife (Katie Holmes) threatening to move out of State taking their daughter with her, Jimmy decides he has to do something to get his family’s life back on track. With a little help from his brother Clyde Logan (Adam Driver), his sister Mellie (Riley Keough) and an incarcerated explosive expert, the aptly named Joe Bang (Daniel Craig), he plans to steal $14 million from the Charlotte Motor Speedway on the busiest race day of the year.

Logan Lucky is set for UK and Irish Cinemas from 25th August. The movie also stars Seth MacFarlane, Riley Keough, Katie Holmes, Katherine Waterston, Dwight Yoakam, Sebastian Stan, Brian Gleeson, Jack Quaid, and Hilary Swank.
