New Annabelle: Creation Trailer ‘Conjures Nightmares’

Her first movie may have delivered my laughs than scares, but this August Warner Bros will be hoping to deliver the fears in Annabelle: Creation. Ahead of the cinematic release of the second The Conjuring spin-off movie, we have a new creepy UK trailer that hopes to conjure nightmares.

This will be no ordinary sequel, but one that finally opens the door to the true story of Annabelle. Very few or should I say 99% of spin-off movies of successful movies rarely deliver what they promise. With 6 plus weeks to go there are a few early reviews appearing that tease Annabelle 2 may just the spin-off we want!

In “Annabelle: Creation,” several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a dollmaker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.

Over the years parents have fought and probably would have killed to get their kids that precious toy, this doll will do everything to kill you. James Wan over the past years has certainly helped put horror back in the minds of cinephiles. He’s slowly been building a cinematic universe and even when any of the movies he was involved in didn’t engage, he kept going until they did. The Insidious and The Conjuring movie universes have opened so many doors, we know Annabelle along with The Nun, Crooked Man we will be seeing, even more, spin-off’s in the near future!

Next, to this new trailer, we have a new poster that plays on the tease that we didn’t know Annabelle’s true story.

Annabelle: Creation is set for an 11th August cinema release in the UK&Ireland. The movie stars Miranda Otto, Stephanie Sigman, Lulu Wilson, Philippa Coulthard, Grace Fulton, Lou Lou Safran, Samara Lee, Anthony LaPaglia and Tayler Buck.
