It’s hard to believe Luc Besson’s epic sci-fi The Fifth Element is 20 years young. If you’re like us praying he’ll return to that genre, our dreams will be fulfilled in August with Valerian And The City Of The Thousand Planets. With six weeks to go Lionsgate Films has released one final UK Trailer, that looks simply cosmic and one hell of a visual treat!
There’s never a week without some comic book related movie playing in a cinema near you. Many are Marvel, some are DC but rarely do we see any comic book movies outside the big two until now. The movie based on Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mézières’ graphic novels which have been printed since 1967, giving Besson an unbelievable resource. We do hope will be more than just a visual treat but hopefully one that delivers the goods too. Many have been waiting for a Fifth Element sequel, Valerian might be the closest we’ll get.
