Incoming ‘Messages’ From The Covenant Crew In Alien: CovenantVirals

For months we’ve been teased with clues on the tone and the plot of the movie for Alien: Covenant and with 3 weeks to go until the movie arrives we have 2 new virals. The virals are ‘incoming transmissions’ from the crew on the Covenant that will heighten the tension (and excitement ) for Ridley Scott’s  upcoming movie.

The videos are crew messages from Daniels (Katherine Waterston) and Christopher Oram (Billy Crudup) and they play like video diaries.Listening to them, messages for family back home on Earth. when you listen to their words, it’s not words of excitement and hope but one of the things are not well. Daniels message is to her father, however, Oram’s he’s reading extracts about the ‘majesty’ summing up the optimism and trepidation of the colonists.

Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with ALIEN: COVENANT, a new chapter in his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.

Alien: Covenant will ‘colonise’ UK & Irish cinemas from 12th May, starring Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, Benjamin Rigby.
