Watch The Terrifyingly Brilliant IT First Trailer

The poster teased “we all float down here”, beware of open drains, hide under the duvet this September if you have coulrophobia, as Pennywise returns! It’s been a long wait but finally, Warner Bros unleash IT first UK Trailer, the big screen adaptation of the classic Stephen King novel is ready to terrify another generation of Children. Beep Beep, who’s gonna float first?

Horror fans have been waiting a long time for this to be adapted, after weeks of little tidbits here and there we finally get a proper look at Andres Muschietti’s movie. We may not be seeing him a lot, but one glimpse of our drain dwelling child devouring killer clown, but one glimpse is enough to set off dread.

In IT, when children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

Hardcore fans of the original 1990 tv mini series will adore this trailer and the attention to detail Muschietti has gone to. He’s certainly paid respect to the original source, some iconic scenes and settings (rainy Derry Maine) with a subway of sewers, kids going missing too. Little Georgie Deneborough’s demise to Pennywise and off course the introduction of The Losers Club. We can keep talking but we don’t want to spoil plus there will be some more easter eggs to come.

Muschietti looks to have captured the horrors of childhood like he did in Mama, creating what looks a very solid intriguing movie.Tonely you do get a Stranger Things tone that works well here without feeling out of the movies era.Bill Skarsgård, looks the perfect choice for Pennywise from what we’ve seen of him, however, he has very big (red) shoes to fill when up against Tim Curry. Now would that not be superb if Curry makes a cameo in some shape or form?

This is only the first of two parts, with The Losers Club the main focus (part 2 date tbc) with IT out in UK, Ireland and the USA on 8th September. The movie also stars Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Sophia Lillis and Jeremy Ray Taylor.
