Since Batman Vs Superman, it’s been a rough couple of years for D.C as they attempt to challenge their longtime rivals Marvel on the big screen. This autumn D.C’s finest heroes, The Justice League will unite in union to fight evil and to give Warner Bros/D.C the kickstart into the cinematic universe they thrive.

Eight months after we were treated to teaser footage post San Diego Comic-Con, today Warner Bros finally deliver the first full UK trailer for The League. All roads so far are leading to one place to D.C’s version of The Avengers, this time there’s no Tony Stark recruiting, it’s Bruce Wayne.

After visually spectacular looking dispiriting Batman V.Superman and the absolute mess call The Suicide Squad can The League save DCEU future? Looking at this first proper trailer, it’s CGI enthused action packed ride that potentially says yes. However, history has foretold, many of Zack Snyder‘s movies do look great in trailer form but a disappointment when the movie is released.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s (Henry Cavill) selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck)enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince(Gal Gadot), to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman(Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher)and The Flash( Ezra Miller) it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

No Superman on show, but that’s no surprise after his ‘death’ in the last movie and the worst kept secret he will be returning. He is a major player in the team though the size of his role in this movie is still unknown, could his return play a pivotal role, in defeating the Parademons or more precise Darkseid? Each of the League gets their own little introduction, a lot of comic book lore too. We have hope this delivers and several quips on show things are positive lighter tone but there’s always the fear in the back of your head leaves us cautious here. Enjoy Aquaman footage with his Logan-Esque shenanigans.

The Justice League is set for a 17th November, UK, Ireland and USA cinema release. With Ciaran Hinds, Willem Dafoe, Amber Head, Jesse Eisenberg, Connie Neilson, Jeremy Irons, Amy Adams also Starring.
