New Ghost In The Shell Clip And Poster Reveals ‘Kuze’

We’re finishing the day as we started with Ghost In The Shell. Like any movie with two sides, it’s great to get a little insight on the ‘good guys’ and ‘bad guys’ when it comes to movies based on adaptations. We all know how iconic Masamune Shirow’s manga was, not in just in anime but sci-fi genre and Rupert Sanders look like he’ll honour that in his own unique way. When it comes to movies like this we have two sides and one thing that’s been kept under wraps in Ghost In The Shell was the villain, ‘Kuze’.

Thankfully tonight we finally get a look at the villain in 2 forms: First is in shape of a short promo/tv spot that plays more like an abstract against the Hanka Corporation. The video outlines his manifesto against the people responsible for his predicament and the video suggests like Major (Scarlett Johansson), his life was stolen too. But his route to ‘regaining his life’ is a way different from Major and in the second promo a new poster you’ll see his ‘shelling’ is less human like.

In the near future, Major (Scarlett Johansson) is the first of her kind: A human saved from a terrible crash, who is cyber-enhanced to be a perfect soldier devoted to stopping the world’s most dangerous criminals. When terrorism reaches a new level that includes the ability to hack into people’s minds and control them, Major is uniquely qualified to stop it. As she prepares to face a new enemy, Major discovers that she has been lied to: her life was not saved, it was stolen. She will stop at nothing to recover her past, find out who did this to her and stop them before they do it to others. Based on the internationally acclaimed Japanese Manga, “The Ghost in the Shell.”

Ghost In The Shell is out in the UK and Irish cinemas on 30th March. Co-starring “Beat” Takeshi Kitano, Juliet Binoche, Pilou Asbaek, Chin Han.
