The path to paradise starts in hell and that path continues in the latest UK(international) trailer for Ridley Scott‘s Alien: Covenant. 3 weeks ago a U.S trailer and we expected the UK version to follow but it has.The 2 minute promo may not deliver a lot of new footage, however, we do get another better look at the iconic Xenomorphs (or neomorphs) and how they attack or should I say stalk?
We do love the new slogan which launched a few weeks ago ‘The Path To Paradise Begins in Hell’ in the last trailer. Like the cowboys, during the early days of the U.S.A, those promised lands may not be as safe as first believed and an unseen terror awaits them. Wall paintings of face huggers and other scary creatures leaving us all in an unnerving position but humanity’s creation. If only they knew what nightmarish horrors await them you wouldn’t go, but that’s what the early Earth settlers had to face.
Thankfully Alien: Covenant will be at least a 15 not the soul destroying 12A rating which rips the heart out of many of a once great franchise. It helped in the critical demise of Prometheus but thankfully the early word as well as the trailers this will be bloody, violent and damn right scary!!
Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with Alien: Covenant, a new chapter in his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.
