It was all about the 1980’s mullet loving throwback Balthazar Bratt (Trey Parker) in the first Despicable Me 3 UK trailer. Today we get a new look at the Summer release when Trailer 2 reveals the movie’s primary story arc and it seems Universal are taking the ‘family’ part literally. As villainy runs in Gru’s family as we meet his twin brother for the first time, meet Dru (voiced by Steve Carrell too), oh brother!

Gru may no longer be the villain he was when we first met him, but Dru has a master plan of his own, will that mean Dru and Balthazar will cause him a massive headache? Or family squabbles that will the brothers in arms rather than brother trouble?

The pieces of information we have on Balthazar Bratt, a former child star who’s grown up to become obsessed with the character he played in the ‘80s and proves to be Gru’s most formidable nemesis to date.

if you’re hoping for more Bratt in this trailer you may be sadly disappointed. The focus is focused on the newly reunited brothers and ever-expanding family (the Minions numbers seem to have grown since their spin off). After been fired it looks like Gru may return to a life of crime with his brother, which will excite The Minions.

Despicable Me 3 is set for a 30th June 2017 UK, Irish and the USA release date with Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Dana Gaier, Nev Scharrel, Steve Coogan, Jenny Slate and Julie Andrews.
