By the time you read this post and enjoy the video The Oscars will be over and we’ll know if Damien Chazelle‘s La La Land will scoop up the record breaking 14 nominations. We’re not going to argue if they were undeserving or deserved to win very few Oscars. We always hear a lot about the negatives of the internet, however, Cinefix delivers us the fun look at the Oscar favourite.
Since it’s release in the USA and the buzz from the critics when La La Land finally arrived in the UK & Ireland it as obvious most cinephiles here would catch the buzz. If anyone said one little bad thing about the movie like a pack of wolves that person was ripped to pieces. Since the Oscar nominations which the movie dominated it’s been feeling the fightback from those who don’t like the movie.
Cinefix has become the purveyors of 8-bit cinema and it was only a matter of time before the Oscar favourite ould be bitmapped, so now’s a great time to brush up on the classic video game! Play your way through Seb and Mia’s 8-Bit romance in this old school RPG.
Whilst we can agree the movie was enjoyed by most of the writing team here at The Peoples Movies, this doesn’t mean we all loved the movie the same way. Everything is basic terms when matching it with the actual movie, but if you loved the songs, the 8-bit versions are catchy as hell!Love those old school RPG games you’ll dig this.
Now we haven’t had a Muppets parody for a long long time and guess what, we have one thanks to Funny Or Die. This isn’t one of those official funny ones but FOD guys gives us a solid video but flawed .
Now if you ever wondered if La La Land was something a little more dark, psychological, twisted ala David Lynch, Cinefix have the answer for you
