Watch New Clip And Featurette For Hidden Figues

If you are looking for true inspiration in your life you can’t go wrong checking out the upcoming movie of Hidden Figures. It’s based on the incredible true story of NASA’s brilliant female mathematicians who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history.

We have two new promos sent to us from those nice folks at 20th Century Fox Pictures. First up is a new clip entitled ‘Slice Of Pie‘, we see Mary (Janelle Monáe) and Dorothy (Octavia Spencer) introduce Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson) to the dashing Colonel Jim Johnson (Mahershala Ali).

In the second video, we have a featurette, called ‘Breaking Boundaries‘ which has with interviews from Pharrell Williams, director Ted Melfi, Octavia Spencer, Taraji. P Henson, Janelle Monae, Kevin Costner, author Margot Lee Shetterly and the real life Katherine Johnson.

Hidden Figures is the incredible untold story of Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughn (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe)—brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanised the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.

These ladies are perfect role models for young women conquering not just sexism in the workplace but also racism as this movie is set in 1960’s during the rise of Civil Rights era in the USA.
