‘The Question is, what choice do we have?’ In a brand new TV Spot for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story the cry is ‘Save the rebellion and dream’. Lucasfilm/Disney Pictures may have launched a new UK TV Spot, but it’s a new promo to celebrate the news that tickets for the eagerly awaited next story from the Star Wars Universe will go on sale in UK/ Ireland from 12:01AM on Monday 21st November.
From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new epic adventure. In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.
It’s new ground for movie’s great science fiction epic franchise expanding that galaxy far far away. The spin-off movies hope to fill the gaps, explain origins or simply just tell the stories outside the main franchise. There are some new tidbits of footage amongst the already seen footage, whatever you think just another reminder that will excite Star Wars fans.
We already know Rogue One could be seen as a type of ‘prequel’ to the original 1977 movie which is ‘A New Hope’, this spin-off movie is all about the rebellion finding that hope. Everything looks to set up for a fantastic movie but we all have just over 3 weeks to find out, but we all have ‘hope’ it will deliver.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is set to arrive in cinemas in the UK, Ireland 15th December with getting the movie the USA the following day 16th December. The movie stars Felicity Jones,Mads Mikkelson, Forrest Whitaker, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Jiang Wen, Riz Ahmed, Donnie Yen, Alan Tudyk.
