When it comes to the environment, there’s plenty of celebs lining up to promote the latest cause, but when it comes to extinction  or poaching it’s a different story. Just before Leonardo Di Caprio’s Before The Flood has a worldwide premiere on National Geographic, he lend’s a hand to The Ivory Game. Netflix’s latest documentary hopes to expose, inform and anger and hopefully educate and ahead of its premiere in November we get a look at the movies UK trailer

In The Ivory Game, Elephants are disappearing at the staggering rate of 1 every 15 minutes. Their deaths are fueled by the illegal ivory trade, a dangerous network of violence and corruption that a brave and dedicated few are daring to dismantle. The Ivory Game exposes the dark world of ivory trafficking from the planes of Africa to the streets of China. By working with undercover intelligence organisations, activists, frontline rangers and conservationists to infiltrate the corrupt global network of ivory trafficking, the film inspires both outrage and hope.

Remember those ivory ornaments you have on the mantlepiece, ever wondered where they come from? It’s becoming a bit of a trend among the Hollywood ranks with Tom Hardy also involved in projects. It’s so hard to keep up with what crimes that are happening internationally, but so many of crimes have been broken since you’ve read this. Do you really want those tacky looking souvenirs  as you could be funding some criminal activity elsewhere. It’s a dangerous world out there.

The Ivory Game is set to launch globally on Netflix including UK&Ireland from 4th November, directed by Richard Ladkani and Kief Davidson.
