The Windmill Massacre is a 2016 slasher film out on DVD from Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment.

Jenny(Charlotte Beaumont), a young Australian girl living in Holland after runaway away from home after experiencing a horrific ordeal. Finding herself running away once again, she is caught up in a tourist bus group exploring the windmills of Holland. However there is something connecting all of these people, the question is will Jenny figure out what the connection is before its too late?

I was very intrigued by this film, as I had not heard too much about it, therefore I wanted to know more. So when I got the chance to watch it I jumped at it. And I am so pleased that I did.

This film really went in a totally different way from what I ever thought it would. I was thinking it was going to be another typical slasher film, which would be fine by me as I love a good old slasher film. But no this was, in fact, a unique twist on the slasher genre, this film had something supernatural about it.

I really appreciated that the film was trying to do something a little bit different, I really liked where the film was going and how it ended. The ending was actually so shocking. I really liked the way this film was overall.

I was a little worried, as I said it would be generic and for a while, it was but then once the twists kick in your in for a real treat with this film. It was so awesome and so different that I think any horror fan will go crazy for this film.

The best part of the film was that no character was good or bad everyone was a shade of grey which again I really thought was great. Gave the film a little different feel. The characters had pasts and it was their pasts that had led them to this point in their lives.

I found something just so unique and refreshing about this film and how it played out. Seeing how people from all different backgrounds and cultures mixed with each other, especially under their circumstances.

I really liked this film and I really think this will be so worth getting on DVD. The Windmill Massacre is a  film I am so adding to my Halloween watch list this year and you can get it right now.

The atmosphere and gore were on point. There wasn’t a time that I didn’t feel unsettled which is good when you’re watching a film like this.

Overall  great film, a different take on the slasher film and I highly recommend checking this film out!
