Topps Go ‘Rogue’ In New Rogue One: A Star Wars Cards Collection

rogue-one-a-star-wars-story-felicity-jonesOne great thing been a kid in 1980s was collecting Topps Cards and the now very hard to find Horror Cards. A set of Cards, my copy of Roy Of The Rovers and 2000AD comics where my weekend treats, 30 years on they have went ‘Rogue’.

Topps UK’s leading Collectibles are about to launch there latest Star Wars Collection, for the upcoming Rogue One:A Star Wars Story. The all new epic adventure in which a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. With the highly anticipated cinematic release scheduled for 16th December this year, Star Wars fans and collectors alike can begin their countdown to the film with the latest Topps release on shelves from October 6th.

The Rogue One: A Star Wars Story card collection introduces all the key characters from the stand-alone film with over 250 cards to collect. Cards will be packed with members of both the Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire, plus a whole host of new vehicles and ships.

Star Wars has a rich intergalactic heritage which carries through into this latestrogue-one-starter-pack collection, making this a must have product for any fan. The latest packs will include special cards, such as holographic and sticker cards, which will be all important to this super cool trading card set. There will be a cool collectors Box to keep all your cards together

Now that a little more of the back story of Rogue One was revealed during the last trailer (watch it here) that the spin off movie’s connection with original trilogy. Excitement, anticipation for the movie will be immense also largely thanks to Episode 7 and a certain Sith Lord!. Kids who love the main movies will adore collecting these cards. Now when will the coolest looking bounty hunter Boba Fett get his film or will he appear in Rogue One?
