When it comes to new movies we reap so much praise on the actors but when it’s a movie with big set pieces there is a bunch of people deserve our praise…The Stuntmen. This Winter Assassin’s Creed one of video gaming’s biggest most popular franchises will take that ‘leap of faith’ into cinematic world. Today  we have a new behind the scenes Featurette focused on the man behind the stunts Damian Waters. It’s all set around one impressive stunt which sees Waters take that ‘leap of faith’ with 125 foot jump,  “one of the highest free falls performed by a stuntman in almost 35 years.”  Hold your fears and check out the promo…

With an impressive Hollywood CV to this stunt will be meat and potatoes for experienced Waters, but still the danger is always there. Waters practises the jump with smaller walls of 70 feet then 90 which help make understand the jumps mechanics as well as how to have safe fall too. It’s astonishing stunt when there’s no wires, cable just a small mat and hay to break his fall. 35 years in the industry (including recent films such as Kick-Ass, Kingsman: The Secret Service, Skyfall, and Captain America: The First Avenger) a stunt like this still a challenge. It’s great to see that the brave stuntmen and women of film world still perform dangerous practical stunts in a era of many films over ran by CGI created scenes.
