In just over 2 weeks time Luke Scott‘s terrifying sci-fi horror Morgan will arrive in Cinemas both sides of the Atlantic. Until now our titular character little has been known about ‘her’ and 20th Century Fox today have fed our curiosities with 2 creepy new promos.
The first clip ‘Morgan’s Progression‘ we meet Dr.Ziegler (Toby Jones) updating Lee Weathers (Kate Mara) on how Morgan (Anya Taylor-Joy). The next clip ‘Dear Morgan‘ plays like a video journal which documents synthetic human in question from her creation through her childhood and into her adolescence years to becoming a ‘threat’.What made her the treat? Why did people die? Step forward Lee Weathers! What we do also see in the clip some of the character we haven’t see yet or much off.Michelle Yeoh seems to be the projects creator or to Morgan ‘Mother’, Rose Leslie also seems to be a motherly figure too.Raising her like a biological Mother, her growth drastically growing at fast pace, is hostility a synthetic human teen’s ‘growing pains’?
Cold, chilling terrifying all we expect from this film and hopefully there’s plenty more surprises left for us to enjoy. We have faith in director Luke Scott, he is Ridley’s son and genre his daddy helped to mould!
Morgan tells the story of a corporate troubleshooter (Kate Mara) is sent to a remote, top-secret location, where she is to investigate and evaluate a terrifying accident. She learns the event was triggered by a seemingly innocent “human,” who presents a mystery of both infinite promise and incalculable danger.
Morgan will be out in 2nd September in UK , Ireland and USA. The film stars Kate Mara, Anya Taylor-Joy, Toby Jones, Rose Leslie, Boyd Holbrook, Michelle Yeoh, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Paul Giamatti.
