Table 19

Weddings you love them or hate them, there always instigators of gossip and mischief. The reception what table you sit at might be no big deal to some but to Anna Kendrick it means alot and in Table 19 U.S Trailer she is a loser, Watch trailer…

Weddings are meant to be joyous occasions bringing together families, relations and friends together as well as many strangers. When your dumped in the fartherest away table you must have done something seriously wrong, you reject!

In Table 19, ex-maid of honor Eloise (Anna Kendrick) – having been relieved of her duties after being unceremoniously dumped by the best man via text – decides to hold her head up high and attend her oldest friend’s wedding anyway. She finds herself seated at the ‘random’ table in the back of the ballroom with a disparate group of strangers, most of whom should have known to just send regrets (but not before sending something nice off the registry). As everyone’s secrets are revealed, Eloise learns a thing or two from the denizens of Table 19. Friendships – and even a little romance – can happen under the most unlikely circumstances.

Table 19 has been a project in existence since 2009, one that Mark & Jay Duplass where set to direct but something went wrong and they moved aside. Current director Jeff Blitz came onboard in 2011 with The Duplass Brothers coming back onboard to script the film. No one really knows why Fox Searchlight had this project gathering in dust before filming started last year. Apart from the few stereotypical cliches but this is a table of outcasts anything can happen which includes ruining the wedding cake, awkward moments.

Table 19 is set to arrive in UK on 29th January(20th January if your from USA). The film also stars Lisa Kudrow, Craig Robinson, June Squibb, Stephen Merchant, and Tony Revolori.
