The one thing we loved about the classic Star Trek apart from the awesome sci-fi stories was the banter between the cast, which was plentiful. Tomorrow Star Trek Beyond finally arrives in UK, Irish cinemas we get a new clip which reveals the old banter will be there in Kelvin Timeline. The clip entitled ‘Well, That’s Just Typical‘ gives us a clue what’s coming when Bones and Spock find themselves in a spot of trouble. But as Bones opens up to his old Vulcan friend, he’s given an opportunity to deliver one of his classic one-liners!
This is a clip which will appeal to the franchise fans who call themselves ‘hardcore’ or have been with the show since day one 50 years ago.The one thing some critics (and fans) said was the new films lacked a little bit of old school charm however Justin Lin will be hoping he’s closed that gap. With a film that will please all Star Trek fans especially with the importance of the franchise celebrating the 50 years. When you’ve been around for that long the roots of the franchise are very important and Prime & Kelvin timelines will be united as they move forward.
In Star Trek Beyond the Enterprise is in the middle of it’s 5 year mission to explore the galaxy and boldly go where no one has gone before. As the crew try to decide where next on that mission things suddenly go wrong when they confront new unknown baddie Krall (Idris Elba) who is against all that Federation Of Planets (aka Starfleet) stand for. The attack find s the crew scrambling to a nearby planet, scattered everywhere could mean the crew attempt to re-unite with each other to regain control of the Enterprise.
We caught a preview of the film last night so stay tuned for our review. For all our coverage on Star Trek Beyond check out this link.
