This coming Friday (22nd July) The Enterprise‘s next mammoth adventure on their 5 year mission and Star Trek Beyond will boldly arrive in UK, Irish and U.S Cinemas. In the final few days of marketing as we dust down our Spock ears, practice our Scotty accents and practice our Vulcan hand greetings, Paramount have unveiled a new TV Spot. The Spot is called ‘Krall‘ which sees Idris Elba out of custom (or is he?), telling us ‘The Federation’ don’t care about us, his planet but if Federation do see him again…They better be ready!
A short but sweet promo leaves us asking more questions about ‘Krall’ and where he is from. Why do we see actor Elba as we know him but until now we’ve seen him as a reptilian creature? He says ‘Federation abandoned our little planet’, did something happen? A battle? Krall has some battle like scars did a early confrontation enrage Krall forced him to go to the extreme with ‘cosmetic surgery’? The reptilian form we’ve seen him as did he co-exist with them to attack the Federation?
In Star Trek Beyond the Enterprise is in the middle of it’s 5 year mission to explore the galaxy and boldly go where no one has gone before. As the crew try to decide where next on that mission things suddenly go wrong when they confront new unknown baddie Krall (Idris Elba) who is against all that Federation Of Planets (aka Starfleet) stand for. The attack find s the crew scrambling to a nearby planet, scattered everywhere could mean the crew attempt to re-unite with each other to regain control of the Enterprise.
Keeping with new Alien races, earlier this week We saw some clips of Jaylah (Sofia Boutella) and today we Meet Jaylah, the sweet, funny, tough-as-hell new ally of the U.S.S. Enterprise crew in the upcoming film in a new featurette. As we learn she is from a psychically strong race of alien warriors perfect ally for Enterprise!
