Another day closer to Paul Feig‘s Ghostbusters arriving in UK&Irish Cinemas and in the latest behind the scenes featurette we meet the ‘Busters old friend…Slime. Like a ‘Tis Waz it was the custard pies this new promo shows the ghostbusting ladies will suffer the ‘slime’ when they get on the wrong side of ghosts. You can clearly see they are having fun with the paranormal sludge. It does look like Kristen Wiig‘s charcater Erin might fall victim to several slimings, like Dr Venkeman (Bill Murray) in the original films!

Will you let the power of Patty compel you? Or will it be the power of negativity? For now we’re on Patty’s  side and until we’ve seen it next month we will judge it then. It took Ivan Reitman 5 years to create Ghostbusters 2 but is it the fact that fans of the original films  who waited patiently for nearly 30 years for a third film? But are they disappointed that the film is now an female team rather than the original cast? We’ve seen the on-off scenario of the third film, with one point  it was suggested it would be their kids with them in supporting roles. The original cast are involved in the 2016 some in producing, most as cameos.In words of Lesley Jones aka Patty Toland ‘It’s not a man thing, it’s not a woman thing. It’s a Ghostbuster thing,”

Ghostbusters makes its long-awaited return, rebooted with a cast of hilarious new characters. Thirty years after the beloved original franchise took the world by storm, director Paul Feig brings his fresh take to the supernatural comedy. Until now how much different 2016 from the original 1984 version we don’t know what we do know is who we will be calling when strange things happen!

11th July  when Ghostbusters arrives in UK.The film stars  Melissa McCarthy,Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig ,Leslie Jones ,chris Hemsworth,Andy Garcia, Michael Kenneth Williams, Matt Walsh, and Cecily Strong.
