The Magnificent Seven Unveils New Poster

Justice has a number and now Antoine Fuqua‘s The Magnificent Seven now has a new  poster before it heads to a cinema near you, Saddle up and check it out!

Director Antoine Fuqua brings his modern vision to a classic story in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures’ and Columbia Pictures’ The Magnificent Seven. With the sleepy town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard), the desperate towns people employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns – Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington), Josh Farraday (Chris Pratt), Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke), Jack Horne (Vincent D’Onofrio), Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee), Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier). As they prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money.

Love or loathe the idea of more remakes head to our cineplexes like comic book films these remakes are part and parcel of our favourite pass time. What some may have forgotten this is actually a remake of a remake as the original 1960 film was a remake/re-imagining of Akira Kurosawa‘s Seven Samurai. We hope this will be a viable remake that will be more than just a like for like and hope the talents of Denzil Washington and Ethan Hawke leading the line we may have a decent film to look forward too!
