To some he is the thinking man’s Indiana Jones but for Robert Langdon and the new UK trailer for Inferno the visions he has spell hell on Earth!Tom Hanks returns as the world famous Symbologist Langdon but can he save from Dante’s Hell from only been fiction? Or is it already Prophecy?
Hell On Earth maybe the words to describe the outcome of yesterday’s UK referendum for some folks. However it reveals the Illuminati in Dan Brown‘s prequel novel to Da Vinci Code are one stop closer to world domination, even world destruction!
Academy Award winner Ron Howard returns to direct the latest bestseller in Dan Brown’s (Da Vinci Code) billion-dollar Robert Langdon series, Inferno, which finds the famous symbologist (again played by Tom Hanks) on a trail of clues tied to the great Dante himself. When Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones), a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories. Together, they race across Europe and against the clock to foil a deadly global plot.
Is it me or as this got even more crazier? You could argue the serious thriller element of Inferno may have disappeared but either way we are still intrigued in what we see here. This could be unintentionally turning the film more into a comedy, but a thriller doesn’t always have to be serious to be entertaining. The first film was solid but not perfect, Angels&Demons had the potential but fell apart at the crucial moments . You could say it’s a parody of the original concept which Ron Howard has decided to embrace. You could say this is a conspiracy theorists wet dream. Howard may have looked at his previous films and decided a new direction for him was on the cards, whatever his vision we’re onboard!
Inferno will arrive in UK & Ireland 14th October starring Irrfan Khan,Omar Sy,Ben Foster,Sidse Babett Knudsen.
