X Men Apocalypse

Warning possible spoilers ahead

Next week, 18th May X-Men:Apocalypse will arrive in UK cinemas and gossip is surfacing that the film’s post credits scene will possibly introduce a new mutant, but who? The news there is a post credit scene is no spoiler as fans of Marvel films expect these scenes as they tease future films. X-Men:Apocalypse producer Simon Kinberg offered a tease based around the scene.

In a recent interview with Collider Kinberg told them..”It’s a nod toward potentially a lot of different movies. .I mean certainly the Wolverine movie is related to what happens at the end of it, but there’s also another character that’s introduced, at least in name, in the tag and he could show up in any host of different X-Men films. Maybe a Gambit movie, maybe another X-Men movie“.

studying what Kinberg said it suggest whoever this character is, will be a big mutant or one who has important role in several Marvel films possibly meaning whoever they are they will be in several films. Could it be a villain or a hero? Cable was hinted in Post Deadpool scene and the mention of Gambit is a good move with his solo movie heading to cinemas in 2017. Could this finally be the long awaited introduction of Mr Sinister? Hugh Jackman‘s final run as The Wolverine  in a R rated Western style finale could it be the film’s villain? Mr Sinister be that villain?

The other possibilities could be The New Mutants  which doesn’t go into production until 2018 however a way to tease fans of the comic book intrigued. With the next X-Men movie set for 1990s could be one of the villains from the comic books of that decade. Whoever it maybe it will give fans a good reason to stick around and find out who it will be, just hope it’s not Howard The Duck again!
