Ahead of it’s screening at Marché du Film Festival de Cannes later this month, we have the Uk trailer and official poster for the Ben Wheatley produced Tank 432.
From director Nick Gillespie and executive producer Ben Wheatley (Director Kill List, High Rise), comes this knife-edged thriller Tank 432 about a band of mercenary soldiers battling to escape a mysterious, unseen enemy.
On the run and with nowhere to hide, a group of soldiers and their two prisoners take cover from a mysterious enemy inside an abandoned military war tank. Whilst they try to keep the forces outside at bay, secrets are uncovered and little do they realise the real enemy is already among them, locked inside Tank 432
The film might be familiar to Frightfesters as the film made it’s world premiere at last Halloween’s Film 4 Frightfest Halloween all-nighter, under it’s original name Belly of the Bulldog.Described as Dog Soldiers meets Jacobs Ladder which will sure excite many horrorphiles like ourselves! Gillespie and Wheatley’s relationship goes away back with the pair working together on The Kill List. Gillespie was part of camera crew of most of Wheatley’s films, so the pair certainly know how both work and Gillespie is one of key contributors to Wheatley’s distinctive visual style.
Tank 432 will be distributed in UK by Kaleidoscope Entertainment who are screening the film at Cannes. The film stars Rupert Evans, Michael Smiley, Gordon Kennedy, Steve Garry and Deirdre Mullins. Out 22nd August.
