With everyone’s favourite web slinger set to star in next week’s Captain America: Civil War it’s was obvious one of MCU would make an appearance in Spiderman’s upcoming reboot. Now we know and if you’ve been eagle eyed in the Captain America Trailer Spiderman is very friendly with Iron Man so it was a bit of a clue . A clue that suggest he won’t be the one who is suppose to die in that film, but the actual connection we may not know until we see Civil War, nor do we know if Homecoming is set before or after Civil War.

Robert Downey Jr himself mentioned on American talk show  Jimmy Kimmel Live he will be involved but how much we’ll just have to wait. It’s going to be a busy time for the actor as news has broke that he will be returning to Sherlock Holmes franchise for a third time. In an interview for Shortlist he told them “We’ll attempt to make one this year, When we’re making those Sherlock movies it is off the hook. It really is a big deal to go and do those movies. I’m tired all the time, but I’m excited about it.”

Downey Jr will be joining Marisa Tomei, Zendaya, Tony Revolori, and Laura Harrier who are already confirmed. With one new face in, another one out. Deadline are also reporting Michael Keaton has pulled out of playing the films villain. Whilst many early report claimed his part in the film was done and dusted, it seems they never went further than talks. The gossip  he was to play the villain The Vulture, Adrianne Toomes is depicted as an aging electronics engineer who becomes spry through his invention: a harness that grants him flight and enhanced strength.
