When there’s something weird in your neighbourhood who you gonna call? Kevin! In a new Ghostbusters Vignette which focuses on Chris Hemsworth’s character, Kevin, the new assistant for the Ghostbusters team. The cast and crew chat about Kevin in the new promo that shows the ‘dumb blonde’ a perfect saying for the male variety too.
Ghostbusters makes its long-awaited return, rebooted with a cast of hilarious new characters. Thirty years after the beloved original franchise took the world by storm, director Paul Feig brings his fresh take to the supernatural comedy. Until now how much different 2016 from the original 1984 version we don’t know what we do know is who we will be calling when strange things happen!
Unitil now the promotion for Ghostbusters has been solely focused on the leading ladies. Kevin has had a little promotion highlighting he’s eye candy for the potential female viewers, but as Chris Hemsworth says Kevin is “a big, dumb puppy dog,”. We all know about our ladies comedic talents, those same ladies praise their co-male with McKinnion calling him “[He’s] a Ken doll with the insides scooped out.” He is the re-imagined version of Annie Pott’s Janine Melnitz the original receptionist, this promo does help to elevate some of that mystery of who Kevin is. Hemsworth is known more for his dramatic action roles however when you play Thor and your brother is Loki you’ve got to have some sense of humourbe it dry. recently he did star in the comedy Vacation which was a flop though he was one of the very few positive things in that film. Some say he’s had some of the funniest parts in Ghostbusters promotion so far
Ghostbusters is set for 15th July UK, Ireland and U.S release starring Melissa McCarthy,Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig ,Leslie Jones ,Andy Garcia, Michael Kenneth Williams, Matt Walsh, and Cecily Strong.
