Twenty years there finally  back  bigger, more angrier  as London has fallen again along with the rest of  the world in a new  destructive UK Trailer for Independence Day: Resurgence. Today we celebrate Earth Day we get a new promo of the long awaited sequel from the master of disaster  Roland Emmerich with our defeated Alien invaders returning their ‘thanks’ for our hospitality of 1996.

The technology has advanced  and what better way to show us pesky humans it’s full power by destroying virtually every known famous landmark on our little planet, demolition Alien style at it’s best.

We always knew they were coming back. After Independence Day redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter Independence Day: Resurgence delivers global spectacle on an unimaginable scale. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction.

This trailer really plays on the epic Destruction and the power of the Aliens weaponry.20 years on the visual ‘weaponry’ Emmerich has now has also drastically changed too, so if he was to deliver a masterclass on how to destroy humanity this is his best time. There is an human element playing here too which sees a certain original ID4 member make a little ‘cameo’ but in the pictorial sense, as his son remembers his daddy. But as you’ll see the old guard from the first film might have been so prepared
