Takashi Miike‘s totally bonkers Yakuza Apocalypse is coming to a Blu-ray or DVD player near you in May and thanks to our friends at Manga Entertainment we have a set of exclusive images and a nice little surprise too!

In Yakuza Apocalypse due to his sensitive skin, Kageyama is ridiculed by his fellow Yakuza clan members for being the only one who cannot be branded with their signature tattoo. When Kamiura, the fearsome Yakuza boss who also happens to be a bloodsucking vampire is brutally killed by a competing clan, he passes on his vampire powers to his loyal lieutenant. Now Kageyama is transformed into a bloodthirsty monster who will stop at nothing to avenge his former boss.

When it comes to Miike film calling it absurd, crazy , wild isn’t a negative if anything it’s a compliment. Don’t go into one of his movies with thinking you will get something intelligent film, what you’ll get is an insane fun film that ask you to leave your brain at the box office and enjoy the ride, Yakuza Apocalypse is one ride you don’t want to miss!
