X Men Apocalypse Mysterio

Some call it The Rapture, In May The Apocalypse will be coming and in The new UK trailer for X-Men:Apocalypse will set mutants Against the Four Horsemen. The war that will kill billions worldwide…

No more false Gods he says we where born blind but can the X-Men guide us to safety with so much carnage and destruction expected?

In X-Men: Apocalypse Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

Is this X-men’s Captain America: Civil War? With talk of characters possibly perishing you could say yes. With a new decade 1980’s as the setting for this film, if anything this could be the swan song to those actors who have been part of the X-men franchise since day one. It’s not the characters its the actors passing the baton to the new generation, but can they deliver that same appeal such as Stewart, McKellan or Jackamn where able to give?

This trailer delivers a better look at Oscar Issac‘s Apocalypse and that we might have a massive death-toll on our hands. It’s not just the mutants who are pitted against the Four Horsemen but also the human race with Nuclear missles been launched as ‘only the strong will survive’. Yu could say this plot is playing on the ‘False God’ End of The World theory many people politically nd religiously believe is happening now in the real world. The one sour note is the use of a song from the dreadful Coldplay, roll on Deadpool.

X-Men: Apocalypse is set for 18th May (27th May USA) UK, Irish release date. The film also stars Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Olivia Munn, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Lucas Till, Josh Helman, Lana Condor, Ben Hardy.
