When people get angry they either sort it out them selves or go to counselling. In The Angry Birds Movie first full UK trailer no need for counselling just get a green pig, and you’ll feel the full wraith of the birds!
After a couple of promos we finally get a proper look at the hugely popular mobile phone game turn animated feature, but can these feathered trash talking sprites deliver the critical Valhalla for gaming movies?
The Angry Birds Movie, we’ll finally find out why the birds are so angry. The movie takes us to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds or almost entirely. In this paradise, Red (Jason Sudeikis, We’re the Millers, Horrible Bosses), a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck (Josh Gad in his first animated rolesince Frozen), and the volatile Bomb (Danny McBride, This is the End, Eastbound and Down) have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up to.
As history has foretold successful games don’t mean it will be a successful film. Need For Speed is a prime example however Sony Pictures will at least know they’ll get a healthy return at the box due to the games popularity. Curiosity will get people heading to their local cinema if they aren’t already fans and the games fanbase is widespread as in ages of the fans.
This trailer plays on not just the humor we now get a clearer look at the film’s story too.The pigs are more advanced now not just egg looters they have the technology to live up to their name as ‘swines’. I’ve never played the game so as in how like for like the movie will be I can’t clarify but like many adaptations there will always be critics. So maybe best way to do is leave the brain at the box office forget about things be 100% perfect and enjoy the ride it looks a fun one!
The Angry Birds Movie is set for 13th May 2016 UK release date.Starring the voices of Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Tony Hale, Keegan-Michael Key, Bill Hader, and Peter Dinklage.
