Can’t believe we’re nearly a quarter of 2016 already gone, nearly time for spring cleaning and The Peoples Movies is doing some, looking for TV Writers. Like any website, blog we need to expand, people move one and we have gaps to fill and we are looking for a couple of TV Addicts look after our TV Department.
We’re not talking about Coronation Street or Eastenders though there might be times you may review shows from ITV and BBC. Your focus will be on the likes of Sky Atlantic, Sky One, Sky Living ,SyFy, Watch, Sony, Fox UK, Dave, Universal, Channel 4, E4, Channel 5, Spike, 5USA, BBC Channels, Along with Amazon Prime and Netflix.
Your day will vary from posting news stories, trailer&clips along features and articles too, there could be special screening or even a chance to interview cast and crew from certain shows too. However Iv’e mentioned the channels we want to focus on core part of your day will be watching these great shows weekly and reviewing them constructively but also honestly and we will support you in every way if your opinion is against the grain. You will also get a chance to review upcoming box sets too. We don’t expect you to have access to every TV Channel or review every show on air, if you can fantastic but every little thing helps.
We are looking for a small band of TV writers to deliver fantastic work, self sufficient working with very little supervision. You will have full creative license in your writing, also be able deliver your own input to help make our TV section a great source for fans of the shows you will be writing about.
Unfortunately this is not a paid position however if your looking to break into film, tv journalism been a TV writer you will be able to build your portfolio of work to help you in your career path. Whilst our base is UK, the internet helps your work reach every corner of the world, so the position is opened to writers worldwide such as USA, Canada.
