Now is a great time for all movie lovers. There are lots of blockbuster movies being released near weekly and the immediate future is every bit mouth-watering. We have gathered apps together that will allow you to keep up to date with movie releases, find tickets and even relax in between movies.

1. Fandango
Fandango is an app that allows you to see trailers for the latest movie releases and upcoming releases. You can equally purchase your movie tickets. An additional cherry on top is the exclusive interviews from stars in the various movies. The app categorises movies by genres and ratings making it easy for you to find what you are looking for. Fandango got even bigger recently with its acquisition of Rotten Tomatoes and Flixster. Talking about the move, Fandango President Paul Yanover said, “Flixster and Rotten Tomatoes are invaluable resources for movie fans, and we look forward to growing these successful properties, driving more theatrical ticketing and super-serving consumers with all their movie needs”.

2. RunPee
Few things are as annoying as missing out on important details in a movie because you went for a bathroom break! RunPee addresses this by giving you a signal when it is time for you to go a bathroom break without missing anything important on screen. Think of it as an app that is as useful as websites such as Casino Juggler that contains a list of mobile sites with casino games that you could hop on when you are bored or when you need to catch some quick game with your loved one without missing anything during a screening.

3. IMDB
One thing most movie lovers have in common is the urge to check out an actor or actress after a movie. This could be in order to see other works they’ve done in the past, their age, marital status etc. Of course you could get on Google to do a quick search but the IMDB app is a better alternative. There are over 4 million profiles of top actors and actresses. The app also features news about top movies. Do you know a Deadpool sequel is in the works? No? Go on and download the app then!

4. Fan TV
If you are at home and want a movie you can watch, Fan TV is a great app to have. The app is a collection of most of the streaming services out there on the web today. There are over one million movies you can browse through the app and you will be directed on the best place to go and watch the movie. There is no need to browse through wades of below par individual streaming services anymore!

5. Film Study
If you are film student or anyone with interest in learning about movies, you will appreciate this app. With the app, it is easy to keep notes and tags on different films and come back to analyse the plots and storyline when you are done. The app features an intuitive interface and provides quality discussions on classic movies.
