In less in 2 weeks time The Coen Brothers Hail! Caesar will make it’s UK Premiere at Glasgow Film Festival, this afternoon Channing Tatum is Burt Gurney in new clip. The promo shows ‘Magic Mike’ dancing and signing away with his buddies having a ‘gay old time’ but there’s ‘No Dames’ to be seen!
Whilst ladies of the world have come weak at the knees at Mr Tatum showing of his pecs and twerking for them, in this no promo we get a slice of his homoerotica side. we all know about Channing’s dance moves for a while this scene shows him flex his vocal chords (yes he’s singing) as he dances with his Sailor buddies but no ladies are to be seen. It’s in a way homage to those great films that Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly in line with Hail! Caesar‘s time line, brotherly love for his sea men!
Hail! Caesar is set in the latter year Golden age of film, the 1950s. Eddie Mannix (Josh Brolin) is an old time studio fixer who ‘fixes’ those ‘problems’ keeping the acting fraternity out of scandals and press vulturous eyes. When superstar Brad Whitlock (George Clooney) is kidnapped by a group calling themselves The Future, Eddie is tasked to finding Brad and fixing those problems that come his way.

Second featurette called ‘Movie Star‘ focuses on Baird Whitlock, George Clooney‘s character and embracing working with the Coen Brothers and the cast interviewed find it tricky to pin down the brothers style, just go see it, we will will you?!
