Some of the films in my Top 10 aren’t out till 2016 including my number 1 but I’ve seen them at festivals etc. during 2015. Some people have said 2015 was one of the worse years in recent memory but the amount of the interesting work to come out made this list hard to compile in the end with great films like Ex Machina, The Revenant and Trumbo having to be left off . The blockbuster had a strong year with Mad Max in the summer and to cap it off with Star Wars which was as good as we all hoped it would be. I didn’t include any documentaries but there was just too many good docs that came out this year but my favourite was Going Clear. 2016 also gets off with a strong start with The Hateful Eight and Anomalisa which should be get nominated for Oscars soon. – Ian Schultz
