Happy Zoo Year! Life is hard no matter who you are but the change starts with you and that can start with the new Zootropolis UK trailer! 2016 is merely minutes old Disney deliver an early new year treat with a second trailer that reveals a bit more of the story and Judy Hopps is more than your average cop…
In the words of Charlton Heston ‘Those pesky apes’ or in this film ‘those pesky mammals’ we get a bigger insight into their world. Just like us pesky humans they have their fair share of worries and strife.
The modern mammal metropolis of Zootropolis is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when optimistic Officer Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), to solve the mystery.
If your like us loved the bureaucratic sloths from the previous trailer, they get a second bite of the cherry here topped up with a funny parody of The Godfather from our rodents. This is more your traditional trailer, delivering more sense of the story, the characters and the struggles our Bunny heroine with scamming fox friend face. It’s a really awesome premise where predator and prey live side by side, then again when its from the studio that brought us Wreck-It Ralph, Big Hero 6, Frozen we expect the best.
Zootropolis will hop into UK&Irish cinemas this Easter 25th March co-starring the voices of Idris Elba, J.K. Simmons, Nate Torrence, Jenny Slate, Tommy Chong, Octavia Spencer, Bonnie Hunt, Don Lake, Alan Tudyk and Shakira (whose song is showcased in this trailer too!).
